A few things about Tim:

He has worked full time as an artist since 1980 after leaving Blackpool College of Art & Design where he studied Illustration and Graphic Design.
Over these years he has worked for most of the major players in the industry on a great many different projects and products from animation through to multimedia.

His work has graced the halls of such illustrious giants as Marvel Entertainment, D.C. Comics, Warner Brothers, Disney, Defiant Entertainment, Tekno (A subsidiary of The Sci Fi Channel), 2000 A.D., and Toontastic, World International Books, Marvel UK, Henderson Publishing, Oyster Books, Newsstand Publications, Vall Hall in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK; Toyland, in Doha, UAE; Landmark Shopping Mall, Dubai UAE, Kraftwork Animatronics, Morpheus Animations, amongst a great many others.

Comic Books & Children's Books

Rainbow, Earthworm Jim, Dr Who, Judge Dredd, Captain Planet, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Tiny Toons, The Dreamstone, Dinoswords, Biker Mice from Mars, Power Rangers, Monster Wrestlers in my Pocket, Transformers, Duckula, Captain Power, Ghostbusters and Thundercats all these and many, many more have received the Perkins touch over the years.

Theme Parks:

His work can be found in some of the major resorts here in the UK and abroad in places as far away as Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kazakhstan and the like.

Animation:

He has worked for various companies working as a storyboard artist, layout artist, background artist, pre and post production artist, story artist, character designer, prop designer, and script writer.

Graphic Design:

His work has been utilised in a great many places by a great many companies, mainly here in the UK.

Lecturing:

He has a part time course on Fantasy Art that he teaches at Blackburn College of Art & Design.

Award for Best Dr. Who Comic Strip "World Shapers" (1988)

Exhibitions:

• Fantasy Art 2001 at Blackburn Museum.
• Fantasy Art 2001 at Blackpool Museum.
• A collection of artwork from some of the top fantasy artists in Britain today.
• Fantasy Art 2007 at Blackburn Museum. Tim is helping to set up and curate this exhibition scheduled tentatively for Summer-Autumn 2007.
